Good weather = Good Hunts

Two LC's already this year, I passed last years total already. Found two Indians, 1887 and the other is toast. Found my very first crotal bell, broken but I'll take it. A few cars, two pocket knives, a pile of clad, a Jewish star and some interesting buttons, one is ornate the other two are heavy and pretty thick, never dug ones like that before. Also had a nice coin spill with 3 wheats and a silver dime. 2017 looking good so far. HH hunting everyone and thanks for looking..

It's been wet here in Philly so the digging is awesome, I'll keep going until it freezes lol

That rattle snake and eggs button is in great shape and fairly rare, rev war era. Very nice find

Congrats on some nice finds. Looks like you may have an early blow hole button and a rattle snake button very nice finds. Here's a pic

That button is quite a find-did you realize what you had before Tnetters responded to your post? Please post pictures of the front and back after you have cleaned it.

The other one is an intact blowhole button-not as good of a find as the rattlesnake but a really good find nonetheless. Take a toothpick and clean out the two holes on the button and you'll see why they are called "blowhole" buttons.

You are on a very good, old site-keep working it and you're sure to find more quality relics.

I honestly had no idea, that's why I love and appreciate this site so much. I thought it was just an old button... thanks everyone. I'll will post more pictures in a bit.
