Musketball changed to heart

Was going over my previous finds since its winter time and decided I really like this. Was searching at a mid-late 1700s house and found a few things. But about 10 ft from each other I found these. One a fired musketball, the other what appears to be a musketball converted to a heart. Both rang up the same. Pretty neat to think about what the person was doing. Insert your own message of love not war etc haha

Nice musket ball interesting find,turn into a heart.Found a few turn into token, probably to play cards.

I've seen lead carved into chess pieces and all sort of things, but this is the first heart. Doesn't take much imagination to envision a soldier carving this out to send to the girl back home along with a letter. Thanks for sharing.
