Had a great hunt yesterday. No period coins this time, but I scrounged up some relics from between the iron. I found some nice early buttons (all pre-1800, 3 Civil War bullets, a d ring from a sword hanger, a leather ornamental, colonial buckle pieces, a colonial silver stud of some type, a flintlock hammer, an open work watch winder, and this field cast in a wooden mold Continental Army USA button yesterday. It's actually made from lead! Couldn't believe my eyes. At the very end of the day, for about an hour, I hit a new-to-me late-19th century site. I found a silver thimble marked "10" and "coin", 17 wheaties, an 1895 indian, a 1934 merc, a 1902 v nickel, and a token which says "good for sanitary drinking cup" and "Washington Richmond line" on the other side. Overall, it was a fantastic day!
