Hello Everyone,

With the rapid melting of the snow my local farm was somewhat ripe for hunting. In the wet/muddy soil digging was a breeze, but very heavy. This place has been pounded by “everyone”, but with care and proper technique it continues to deliver each and every hunt! As always the iron was flowing, but some of them are very cool, will have to clean-up. The keeper relics included: two very nice buckles, a large flat button, a bale seal, bird tag and a small button. The coins were few and far between, but certainly welcome: 1909 Barber dime, 1911 Lincoln cent, 1936 S Buffalo nickel and an 1890 Indian Head cent. All in all, it was a great day in the 50 degree temperature with very little wind! After the hunt, I was covered in mud, brought me back to when I was little kid. Looking forward to a few more hunts this week in the muddy field.

Thank you for looking!

GL & HH

Better than I usually do in ANY farm field. I almost never find a coin of any kind!

Nice!

Hello angelito1,

I used the Garrett AT Gold - wide open with the small 5" x 8" coil. Using a very slow walk, overlapping each swing by 50% and digging about 99% of the signals.

Regards,

Doc
