First Buffalo

[KENTUCKYWONDER]

KyDigNQueen and I got out today to a couple of different places today enjoying our wonderful spring 70 degree weather in the middle of winter. While not one our better hunts I was able to score my first Buffalo! Even though it is toasted, I was able to hold my mouth just right and get the 1916 date off the coin.


Also a couple of wheat and a snap that has SCOVIL MFG CO on the back. I'm havin a hard time dating it.


Our second hunt we ended up at a local park finding only clad.

All and all a very beautiful enjoyable day.

Thanks Chizzy! I'm hoping KyDigNQueen gets into some silver this year. She kills clad all the time, but is getting discouraged that she hasn't found any silver coins. So I'm hoping she does get to post her 1st this year.
