Can not believe this weather for Feb. in Michigan.........a week of 50 and 60 degrees:hello2: Few keepers again. No easy ones today. Over 100 years of leaves, limbs, down trees, most targets were 6 to 10 inches deep, and lots of roots to dig through,:BangHead: 0218171044.jpg 000_0055.JPG 000_0054.JPG 000_0050.JPG 000_0052.JPG 17220144134174.jpg 17220143933183.jpg Nothing earth shattering, A flat bell, another Ax head, some flat ware, always find a harmonica reed at every home site, and a few "Whats its?" 000_0056.JPG Just glad to be diggin in Feb.....HH

In your photo of "What its?", the T-shaped piece with a slot: brass right? I dug one just like it here in New York last season and I haven't figured out what it's from. It looks a lot like the clasp on horse-blanket belly straps, but there's nothing to fix the cloth to on the other end. Hope someone has the answer to the mystery!
