I posted my finds for the first day I hunted my neighbors yard, but I hunted it hard the last two days as well and want to post the totals. The property is two houses on an acre of land or so. The houses were built in 1915, but there is two houses near the yard from the mid 1800s. There is plenty of targets still left in the yard. I'm looking forward to going back in a month or so (I am heading out of state for work). Here is the three day totals:
1 silver Rosie dime
1 silver war nickel
1 silver ring (returned to owner)
3 junk rings
2 Kennedy half dollars
29 wheat cents
1 Indian cent (18 something)
16 toy cars
3 spoons
3 keys
Old match tin(?)
2 pocket watches
5 miner/tool tags
16 pennies
5 nickels
2 dimes
3 quarters
2 modern tokens
Random bullets and casings

the Marine Corps marksman badge is pre-WW2 and dates to around 1920 I believe. You made a bunch of really great finds. I like a yard with big variety of cool stuff to find

Thanks for letting me know that. Her dad was a marine. I actually found another part of it that goes above it that says US Marine Corps like the one pictured and I gave it to her. I thought the round piece looked newer and didn't go to the smaller piece that I found but I guess it does like the one pictured! I will end up sharing this info with her and give her the badge. Her father was born in 1921 and served during WW2. I wonder if there are more pieces in the yard. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1488114887.955013.jpg
