Hey everyone, Got out today for a three hour hunt in the city. The city owns three lots side by side and I worked probably a 1/4 of the lots total. Todays haul consist of a 1940 Mercury dime, 1958 wheat penny, a stack of memorial pennies, 98 cents in clad, a token of some sort with someones intials on it and a Police Officers Button. A little research on the button and I'm guessing the button was made after the civil war but before 1900. On the back of the button it says Waterbury Button Co. with a star and a inner circle of dots. I thank you for looking and HH.

As you were: first silver coin of the year. Sorry about that.

Congratulations on the Merc, the Police button and other finds! The nice part about researching relics is it can extend the fun and experience of that hunt well beyond the actual time in the field. :icon_thumright:
