Got out and hit a few places today. The first stop coughed up a little sterling ring, toward the end of the day we ran across some guys emptying an old shed next to an old house that was about to fall in. We asked and got permission to hunt the yard. There I found this old saloon token and the old sugar spoon. Afterward we stopped at the church down the road where we were previously headed and I found a buckle cover and the wheat penny.

Feel free to tell me it's super rare and valuable.

Well it's a super cool find but I don't know if it is valuable. Congrats

I agree with ATW. Always nice finding old relics and tokens from the past. But hard to put a value on most of it. I've found a few rare tokens and they usually sell for a few bucks on eBay. Hopefully yours has better luck than mine ;) HH

I don't know the specific value of yours, but saloon tokens are among the most valuable types of merchant token so theres a good chance its going be worth at least $100.

Just take a look at the completed listings for saloon tokens on ebay. Some of them are worth as much as gold.

Nice token! There is a variety listed on tokencatalog from Andrews & Bray, Delmonicos Saloon, Greenville, Texas, but this one is not posted there yet. Please post it there, or with permission to use your photos, I can do it. Yes it is rare, and if you were to sell it at auction with token collectors bidding, I am sure you would be happy with the results.

tokens from saloons usually predate prohibition. After that there where no more saloons

So a lone survivor saloon token qualifies as super rare and possibly valuable, right?
Maybe someone will show me why I can't afford to keep it some day.

On another note, my dremel seems to be cleaning up the old sugar spoon pretty nice for only being nickel silver.
