Just when you think you've seen everything conceivably dug you dig up something totally unexpected! I got a large target alert signal on my Fisher and thought that I probably had another aluminum can in the median strip...
....Digging down 4 inches and out pops a solid brass Gargoyle! ...This thing is a little creepy! Stuck it in my pouch and kept on hunting this median strip that I've pounded to death about 20 times. A silver dime, silver nickel, and 5 wheat pennies would be good for my first 3 hours today.
I drove to the other side of town an continued my hunt at the front of the elementary school that I've been hunting the last 4 weekends and dug out 2 more silver dimes! A 42 merc and a 49 rosie would top off a good days hunt. 13 total wheat pennies would be dug today! I wish all my hunting adventures were as good as it was today !
