Looks like the kind of results we get from farm fields. Where ever you get Lead like that we want to hunt. (Although its normally Roman/Medieval lead)

Looks like the kind of results we get from farm fields. Where ever you get Lead like that we want to hunt. (Although its normally Roman/Medieval lead)

Nothing beats getting on a site not littered with modern trash or shotgun brass. You know every signal is something old but the lead can sometimes be overwhelming. Most pieces sound just like buttons

Some over here sound like Roman Coins. We dig all lead, with my settings I easily pick up bits the size of a match end. Keep it all & sell it as scrap.

Congrats on a killer set of finds.

I feel cheated, why no close up of the cob? I have never found one, so I would have had a dozen pics of that rascal in there. I think that I see a monogramed cuff link too. Please be more of a show off!

It does have a hunting scene on it. Pommel to 1700s hunting knife. Wow thats awesome if that is what it is. Thanks
