We were just talking about that in our club meeting last night. One room school houses are poor target environments for coins. That was the general concensus among 25 members. Kids just had no cash during the Depression and there was no cafeteria or vending reasons to bring any. Relics yes, coins no.

Find the closest church. That's where the social activity centered.

you know you might be right.......but the school is still active.....the grounds have changed.....

I have found the same as you CharlieP. Kids then just didn't have much of anything.
