Technically I did find them. Family member wanted me to have them, wanted face value. Amazing condition. I would shi$ if I actually found a cache like this. I just wanted to share, pretty excited about them.
I wish someone would give me a cache of Morgan and Peace Dollars like those for only face value! I see some Semi-Key and Key Dated coins, hopefully they have the right Mint marks that makes them valuable and all are genuine. I'm not saying that any are not genuine but some look a little off in the pics but it might just be the pics. You should have them checked and some possibly certified and graded, especially the very valuable ones but be careful to find a trustworthy Coin Dealer or Expert to check the coins and never let them out of your sight. In any case, congrats and the best of luck!
Now someone has to be the Debbie Downer ... it's par for the course. It wouldn't hurt to have them checked out to make sure they're real. Can't tell much in my phone but they are pretty uniform in looks and color. Not saying anything either way but might as well have them assessed by a dealer. For a buck each you can't go wrong!
Ennismill... Can you list the Date and Mint marks of each coin? I would like to know how many if any Semi-Key and Key Date coins you received in the lot and I am sure other members are biting at the bit wanting to know as well. Since you are new to Treasure Net, I want to say Welcome and advise you that if you wish to do so, it is okay to reply to any and all posts!
I looked at the 1923 and 1928 Peace Dollars in the pic until I was blind and believe that there are quite a few of both. Most of all, I am wondering what Mint marks the 1889 and 1899 Morgans have or don't have!
