My buddy FatTony315 and I were able to get back to a site we hunted last year. We've pulled 6 or 7 coppers from this site so far. Added another one to the list with a draped bust large cent. In the right light you can see the date (1798). I think you can see the 17 in the date in these pics. Read up a solid 12-45 at 4 inches on the E-trac. Also pulled a lock that seems to look a little newer than some of the other relics pulled from this site. We're hoping to get back to this site a few more times this year.

It was a bad one, at least the end of it. We got about 20 inches of snow here with that noreaster. This hunt was just prior to the storm. Haven't had time to post until now. Gonna try this site again after the snow disappears. I'm pretty sure there's a few more coppers lurking there and hopefully a silver or two.

Very nice hunt,,
I would definitely be spending a lot of time around a site that is giving up coins from the 1700's.
Congrats

Nice early draped bust Evolution and nice to get a date off of it. The last two I've found I went nearly blind trying to see the dates, but to no luck. HH
