The prediction was for passing showers in the afternoon with 60 degrees temps. The last week I have been watching the snow melt and hoping the ground was thawing out. I loaded up the bike and was swinging the coil by 12 P.M.
I hit a park that has been pretty good to me so far this year. IHP's, Silver, and lots of wheat, with 2 silver rings so far. I have been paying more attention to the edge of the fields. It seems that everyone rushes into the center of the fields where the inter-active sports take place. I have done that myself from time to time. It's okay if you want to load up on clad. There may be a stray silver out there but it is rare.
One of the holes I dug in the first hour of the hunt ended up being a 7 Wheat Penny spill. About an hour later, a real pretty Mercury Dime was winking at me. Then, an hour after that, I found her older sister,, lol. A two Silver Hunt is Sweet.
Right around 4 P.M.,, those showers made an appearance. I paid a visit to the men's room and waited 15 minutes for the shower to pass. A four hour hunt and a nice ride home made for a really good day.

Very nice and congrats on the silvers. They have eluded me so far this year.
