Well while hunting a yard that Birdman and i thought was close to being hunted out i came up with these two wife pleaser's about a foot from each other. Come to find out where i found them there used to an entrance to a church many many many years ago, so looking at the history of North Dakota with a pretty significant Czech heritage i am hoping that maybe the Alexandrite ring comes from Russia(where the first Alexandrites were found on Alexanders birthday in the 19th century and named after him. They both look pretty old, so hopefully the antiquity value will help shoot the value of up, and when i get a chance to have them appraised i will update and let yall know what i come up with. Hope yall enjoy the pics!!!!!

I will put my 2 cents in on the first ring. My guess is IF it is changing colors with indoor and outdoor lighting, then it is a man-made or synthetic alexandrite. I do not think it is an amethyst, and definitely not a naturel alexandrite. Synthetic, but still very nice!
