Every now and then, we simply *have* to reach back
into the past and pull something through to the here
and now:








Today, I just felt like finding something old.

So, I took a short walk around the mansion.
Hadn't been there for a while and don't usually
get much there anymore.

I could only stay a short time because the owner
had some big todo going on there today.
But, the mansion remembered me. It gave me
the button at the top.
It says, "TREBLE GILT - STANDRD COLOUR"

The other stuff was at the field of dreams which
I hit on the way home for another couple hours.

Buttons, a fairly scarce wheatie, and a pistol ball?

Yeah, I think today was as much a success as any of my
clad hunts.

Yeah, it kind of surprises me. How some come out in such poor shape and then along comes one like this one.

Reminds me of the days when I used to get those perfectly green indian head cents.
