Silver, Buff, & Other Items of Interest

Hello All. Dug these items mostly at a small town 1920's home site. The owner was very gracious and enjoyed the dig almost as much as I did.

Never seen a lock that small before and I cannot figure out how old the "Scott Heath Care" medal is...any ideas?

Gettin' hot down here and we desperately need some rain. It is so dry that the sandy ground fills in the hole as you dig it.

That is a nice variety. Great finds. My familys in SW Florida, Mom was just telling me the alligator in her backyard is getting fat because the lake is so low all the fish are stuck in a puddle.

Very nice variety of digs, congratulations! The Scott Healthcare pin is probably not that old. These are trinkets handed out to the employees of Skilled Nursing Facilities (nursing homes) when you please the Corporate Masters by making them lots of money, coustomer satisfaction, getting good reviews,etc. It is your reward for busting your ass! An MBA sitting behind a desk somewhere thinks this all you need to stay motivated. Sorry, I got sidetracked! Congrats again!

Hello Obsessive. Yup we need some rain bad...Any body of water 1/4-AC or larger has at least one gator in it...Hardly ever saw 'em when I was a kid back in the '60's...guess that Endangered Species Act worked out for 'em. Thanks for the reply C9

Hello highnam. It is a woman's compact case...glad you asked because seeing you reply I took a closer look at it and on the side it says "James Inc. Paris New York"..can't find anything about it but still cool. Thanks for the reply. C9
