Hi fellow Gophers Rule #1 always dig everything!!!! No matter how good you think your detector is, I passed this signal up for months I was testing a new program on my XLT and It registers a 95 8in. down all the previous 95's I've had have been rusted pieces of iron since I was testing I dug anyway here is what I found.
18 dimes
7 quarters
4 halves
1926-1952
Who ever buried it broke open the nickle compartment and buried it and never returned for the rest.
P.S. after 2 hours of trying to get it opened my wife got it open in 3 min. lol lol hh J.D.

Hi j.d.,
Have you tried going back and hunting these places with a detector such as a minelab? I'll bet you would find alot of stuff you just passed over by using that idiot meter on the white's. I have had a spectrum for many years and have probably passed up many things because I was dependant on that meter. Just my thoughts, maybe I was not using the machine correctly, but since I switched my machine, my finds have gone up 500% at least.
