It does feel good even when it's microscopic gold. If I'm lucky I will find gold once every 4-5 months. I have only been doing this for a year so I'm not very good at it. I'm sure your turn to find gold will come, you just have to keep at it no matter what. Good luck and hope you score big.

Ive gotten close to 1000 gold rings (Ive been in this hobby since 1975)
and have gotten some smaller - one was made for a new born babies pinky
bout half that size
Broke a record for one of the smallest rings probably :dontknow:

My first year detecting - I almost gave up - second year got my first gold and that's when I started finding more of every thing
I like fidning all kinds of treasures - yes gold is great - but im happy finding musket balls and flatbuttons on land as well as fishing weights in the water
I got into this as a hobby - not as a money making venture - so its all good!
The water is where to go if you want to find more gold - here is one of my better yrs --
-time + talent = treasures
keep at it - GOOD LUCK!

That ring has some age to it I believe. As soon as I had seen it, It was just like one I have. There is a picture of me at about 3yrs old with a ring like that, (In my 60's) and I believe it was my grandfathers. Small ring, Great find.

My ring is quite small and you got a smaller one, that's just amazing. I doubt I will ever get to your level or all the other depot pros. I love looking at all the great treasure you guys post there.
