Hi all

Got up early (5:00am) this AM as rest of weekend looks to be a wash out.

Hit a new-to-me high school – only stayed 20 minutes – not even a single piece of clad – just wasn’t feeling it.

Went to the middle school I have been working for past year and a half – have pulled 1000+ coins (no exaggerating), 2-3 silver rings, wheats, an 1903 IHP even a Saq. Dollar! But never any silver coins.

Wandered around collecting clad – but its starting to thin out……..went down to a far corner where I have pulled some wheats before and started poking around….

Got a jumpy, chattery signal flashing between 60s/70’s and an 83-84. But a tight signal.

Dig my plug – found a old Lincoln cent….then I see the whitish-silver of a silver coin…then the reverse of a merc!!!!! So happy – stopped took pics etc…..1942 MERC.

Continue probing the plug – another Lincoln – then a 55 wheat. No more in the plug/hole. I am happy!! Put the pug in and re-scan……another 84 coupe inches off the 1st plug…..lo and behold – ANOTHER 1942 MERC!!!!

Probing the second plug – a (my first buffalo) toasted red buffalo!!!!!!!! And a 1961 Canadian cent. Couple more Lincoln’s and that’s it.

But a nice score – things have been slow for the past month or so – this made up.

One of them is in pretty nice shape - can make out the sticks and diagonal straps on reverse are nice and braids in the hair are nice...

That's a very productive day hunting mate. Congrats on your first Buffalo. Toasted or not she's your first and will always be cool. Work that area some more.
