Sorry late posting my girlfriend found this in a field haven't tested it yet but looks like an old gold crown with the tooth still in it. Any thoughts? 20170517_190751.jpg 20170517_190717.jpg

Or, what you could do....
Is not respond to the kind words and posts regarding your latest find.....
And ignore Tnet and it's members until it's time for you to post your next gold ring.

Good luck Ken, happy hunting.

Gotta wonder how a human molar ends up being lost/found....is it from a shallow grave? Could it be a missing person??

Congrats Plymouthian! I gotta think you've been digging every nonferrous target to come up with this one:hello2:
Hey saltednuts, did you ever post any of your "several" found crowns?
id like to know the circumstances, or read the story...

This is a banner worthy find.
Small size and trashlike response make their recovery extremely remote,
I've been waiting years for someone else to find one.
(Like 'saltednuts', I have found several, (3) and consider them among my best recoveries )

One banner vote cast.
I have long speculated how they may have come to rest where they did,
the partial tooth included here is extremely thought provoking.
