I found a 1907 barber dime, a Confederate Enfield with a square nail sticking out the base of it , and a little button today

I always knew that the Confederate Army used substandard equipment. But if they felt their best option was to pound the bullets into the Yanks with a hammer it's worse than I thought. :) Thanks for the pics!

Looks like a great repurposed bullet, but for what? I absolutely love pieces like that. They leave you scratching your head forever. Nice digs
