I went up to northern NM on business and met up with cibolero and show me around and I told him about my friends finding nm chauffeur badge and I was looking to find one, well we went to park and started to hunt it and I had dug a fee ad dimes and got a 12-44 signal could believe what come out a 1954 chauffeur badge. I could believe it we were just talking about one while driving to the park. I guess metal detecting God's were listening 20170525_181733.jpg 20170525_181739.jpg

Nice find. In NM are chauffeur badges just for "real" chauffeurs? The reason I phrase it like that is many years ago I found my dad's Colorado "chauffeur license" from the late 1960s. I asked him if it was cool being a chauffeur and he told me that he was a taxi driver, but they used the same license since they were basically drivers for hire.

Excellent relic. Too cool that you were talking about it earlier. Serendipity comes to mind.
