"returned serviceman's war sourvenir" Nurnberg 1933 nazi badge

Hi all,Went for a short trip out to an old disused farmhouse.what a dump.the farmer who owns the place ,said that the old house was let out to a returned serviceman for many years and no-one has lived there since the early 1980's.Sure enough the weather turned bad and rain got heavy.So i had a scavange threw the rubbish left behind,by others.
Hand-sifted threw piles of rubbish left in the house and found a few rats nests.Lucky no-one home Hahahahah.Anyway found a R.S.L {returned servicemans club badge 1980} and a nazi badge of some type .2 pennies from when the house was used by the farmers who owned before 1935.Mit have to wait a while for better weather to hunt the yard.

Man that is an awesome site to hunt. I'd be back there in the spring with a mower and a weed whacker. Just help the farmer out, tell him you want to clean up the place a bit. LOL I bet there are lots of other goodies at that site.

Really like the Nazi badge. I'd bet the Nazi collector's would pay big bucks for that badge.

Awesome finds TP! That Nazi badge is very nice. If there is no silver mark then it might be polished zinc or aluminum. I drive through Nurnberg every week. Nice finds and HH, Mike

The badge is a Nazi Party Member badge.

NSDAP stands for National Socialist German Workers Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei). The Nurnburg 1933 denotes either the Reichstag Fire or the date Hitler was officially made Reich Chancellor (most likely the latter).

I also found some info that it may be a commemorative badge for the NSDAP Rally in 1933 in Nurnburg. They were probably given to everybody who attended who were in the Nazi Party.

I believe there was a Nazi movement here in America during the 30s and 40s, if it is American, it is worth a lot more to a private collector.
