Scouted a new area today (way too hot!) for Civil War Relics and this was my first signal. The inside case shot of a Parrot Shell! It still has the inside burst tube with several case shot still attached to it. Measures 10 inches with about a 2.5 in diameter. Also, got alot of similar reads with the Minelab, but way too hot to keep on. Maybe in a good area that recieved some incoming on the trenches we were scouting. Definatly going back the first day that isn't in the 90's.
Also, I believe I stupidly threw a fuse away. I did not realize it until I was on the net looking up the Parrot find and saw some pictures of them for sale. I thought it look liked an old top of a beat up can of some sort. I do know where I threw it so I can get it back.
I'm gonna give Ronin a pretty please to clean it up for me. He was supposed to go with me, but did not make it. Ha Ha
