 DEPLORABLE
ANOTHER BUCKET LISTER
I returned to "Bucket List Park" yesterday. Armed with the DEUS, I started to swing the coil at 12 P.M. I just received a Brand New Garrett Carrot the day before, so that I can send my old one back for service. Using the new Carrot I noticed an awful lot of EMI on my DEUS. I didn't connect the two at first.
Picking away at some clad and a few deep wheat pennies, I finally dug out a really small target. I had a feeling of what it was, since I have recovered a Capped Bust Half Dime in this park earlier this year. I broke out my magnifying glass and sure enough,, I was looking at an 1858 O Seated Half Dime. My first Seated Half Dime.
About an hour later my Garrett Carrot started to konk out. I changed the battery and it worked fine on the next target. Then nothing. There is definitely something wrong with this instrument. Looks like I'll be sending 2 Garrett Carrots back for repairs.
I stopped the hunt about an hour after finding the Seated Half Dime. I got tired of scooping dirt and passing it over the coil like in the old days. I guess I'm spoiled. I was perfectly okay with whatever the rest of the day would bring me.

Wow! I would be extatic to see that dime in the bottom of any of my plugs. Sorry about the carrot I've had mine for about a year and so far so good. Congrats on the finds!

 Old Tom Cat.
A Great day from a Great Park.
Very sorry to hear about yr 'Carrots' I got one as a Gift over a year ago, I tested it when I got it . Worked well at the time.
I hope it work's cause 'me' 'Mr, Procrastination' never sent in the warranty card.
Again love the Half Dime & a N.O. Mint at that .
As I am finding , In life we begin having the Blissful happiness & the Wonder & innocence of a Child, then fall Quickly, then spend the rest of our lives trying to reach that point where we began ,through Pleasure , Fame, & Materials but Only 'Through true faith in Jesus , can we find Prefect Happiness or true Meaning in our Short lives on this Beautiful Earth filled with both the Light of Pure goodness & The Darkness of Pure Evil. When I ordered the Charging Clips for the DEUS, I also ordered the Garrett Carrot. I sent both Carrots to Texas today. In the meantime, I'll have to use one of my old black Pointers.

 BRINGING HISTORY BACK TO LIFE
I have the same problem with mine. I often have problems with the Garrett pro-pointers. Garrett has always given me brand new ones though when I ship in the damaged ones.
