Second Walker ever...

I was heading to my local park just for a short hunt this morning while the digging is good after all the rain and I passed by a neighbor who was outside smoking a cigarette that owns a corner house that I talk to all the time. I asked him if I can hunt his lawn because under these conditions I can't hurt it much at all and he said sure.
Using the Mojave I was silver coin shooting, turned he disc to max so I was pretty much cherry-picking just the high tones to see what was going on here and the first target I got was a copper memorial cent.
This was the second target I dug 10 seconds later.
This might end up to be a pretty good permission, I think.
Heck, it already is a great one!

I was walking by this house on my way to my local park just for a short hunt.
It heats up early around here now and the humidity is 71% right now...it gets worse.
I find some great things once in awhile at this park but mostly I just go there to kill time because it is close.
I didn't plan to film anything so no GoPro.

After I got permission I was just going to hunt a little at this house and see what was happening.
I was hoping for wheaties, silver dimes or if I was really lucky, Indians.
The first target was just a memorial, I just thought the next would be the same.
I had no idea I was going pull this thing up.
The owner was standing on the porch when I dug it, I guess I yelled or something because he asked what I found so I walked over to show him, I didn't even think to pull out my phone and film this thing in the plug but it didn't look like much being covered by dirt and mud, anyway.
Next time.

Oh yeah, another great US coin design and big silver too. Neat how your original plan got sidetracked into a new permission. Fate has a way of interfering with "our" plans sometimes. Glad it worked out in your favor.

Nice big silver. Hopefully many more will come your way. None for me this year yet but 19 walkers last year was a good year. When they were dropped in the water they were history. How you can miss one on land is a mystery! I have only found a few on land.

Thanks all...one of, if not the, most beautiful coins this country ever produced.
A bit worn on the high parts but overall in great shape and I am thrilled

For me it's the ultimate bucket lister. As you stated it's such a beautiful coin! It may take me 10,000 door knocking attempts but I'm hoping to find one.
