Colonial axe cleaned up plus a question

Just finished running my recently found axe through electrolysis, and it came out pretty nice. Even looks like there's evidence of 2 maker's marks although they're illegible.

While on the subject of axes, does anyone know of a really good reference book for ID'ing all the various types of colonial axes (like trade, hewing, polling, broad, etc)? I've never been able to come across one that fully suits my needs, and would like to add one to my library. Thanks!

Nice job Bill. Are you familiar with the works of Eric Sloane? His book, "A Museum of Early American Tools" is, though not comprehensive, a great resource.
