Look at this monster. Even the wife backed off and said this was too large for her hand.
It is heavy and sure gave me a rush.
No markings. I am not sure what kind of metal but it sure Cleaned up really good.
Other finds were $1.63 in clad

An old headstamps
What I thought was a fishing weight but was a football pendant. Plated
And this 1953 1 Peseta.
I love finding old foreign coins in the US.

I could see where your heart may have skipped a beat on that ringy thingy. It appears to be a gold plated ring as your picture seems to show another base metal underneath showing through. The stones kinda' look like colored glass too. Still if not the real deal the THRILL was genuine! I love finding foreign coins too. Even Canadian coins received as change is cool to me. Glad you got an adrenal buzz as that is what we look forward to during our therapy sessions.

Congratulations on your finds. Thanks for sharing. Too bad about the ring.

Just for SH## and GIGGLES I tested the ring.
The 14K acid pretty much ate the trace BUT the 10K did this

Didn't eat it.
Short of taking it to a jeweler is there another test I can do?

Interesting. I can't tell if a base metal is showing or it just appears that way from the photos, how does it look in person? Does it appear plated? Have you ran a magnet over it?
