A re-do on my attachments..
sorry about the flub :(

I ask a few questions here and there and came up with a very nice grassy area to hunt. Started out very slow just a couple junk hits and a couple recent Canadian pennies. I moved Maybe 100 yards or so one way and picked up my first good Target which was I'm thinking one of these Canadian Silver's. Wasn't long in that same area I pulled that old toasted coin, just pocketing it since I couldn't read anything on it at all. You might can make something out on this coin. There is a faint likeness on there. So kept swinging a little tighter and slower and found these other nice coins in that same little area. I'm telling you this was fantastic for me, I've actually postponed our next RV leg for one day to be able to
Hunt this area one more time. If anyone can shed any light on The Toasted coin please feel free to pass on the comments. This particular area goes back to the 1600s. Maybe not this particular area that I'm hunting but in general the whole area as a total.
Take note that the two pennies were back in the day when this was just Newfoundland, thinking that in 1949 it was voted to become part of Canada.
Forgot to mention the two Barber dimes was a plus !

Thanks for your patience !!

Did a re-do on my attachments, sorry for the inconvenience. I'm just getting one half a gigabyte of high-speed here in Northeast Newfoundland. Supposing that was my problem.

Thank you!! Was awesome to find the right area on this large acreage permission. Full of Alders, Pines and some grassy areas. Well give it my last shot here in a bit.

Coin looks late 1700s French... leaning towards it being a jeton.

Wow ! What a nice haul !! Can't wait to see what else you get out of that area .[/QUOTE

Thanks !!
I had a fairly good morning back in the same area, not as good as this last hunt but still a pretty good hunt. I will have to get my finds rounded up and sort through them and get back and post again.

Thanks again !!

Great saves; and thanks for the (1949) history lesson.
Don.......

Yep, that's cool...... got me a couple more of them Newfoundland pennies today I think, which like I say has to be before 1949.

Thanks Don

Welp, until a few months ago I was fairly high and dry on Silver. Actually just picking up one or two here and there was really awesome for me but I have to say this place and area that I hunted the two times has treated me well. Today's hunt was good but nothing like this one.

Thanks again Ddf !!

PS...U'd tear this place up !!! Really!!....
