Man I love finding Mercs. I think they're one of the best looking finds coming out of the earth. Here's to many more!

First Silver! OK, say good-by to your "Former" life, your hooked. Washingtonian and JeffinMass are both right on. After 30yrs. I still get a thrill with a silver merc.

Congrats on your first silver. Mercs are a great coin to dig, and I hope many more are headed your way. My first coin was a Merc also, and I still have it labeled (with every other one I have found) in my coin album. Every now and then I will pull my album out and look at the coin (s) that got me started in this great hobby 30 years ago.
