No kidding - here too. Even in the shade I can't see to dig for the sweat pouring out. Maybe it's time I plan that New England hunt I've been wanting...

Northern Illinois is about 93 degrees and humidity is close behind. Sitting in my AC sucking sun tea. No hunting in this crazy heat. Not even feeling like taking the AT Pro for a dip in the creek.:icon_sunny:

You better plan accordingly.....it's 92* here today (CT). Not sure how much cooler you're trying to get.

Complain, complain, complain. 86° here with 100% humidity and no air conditioner. Will be nice and cool while detecting one of my favorite places.

There are lakes on this earth for a reason folks! Go play in one!

Been a scorcher here in South Carolina also and it's gonna reach 100 this weekend. I am a glutton for punishment though & have still been hunting in a field. I start at the crack of dawn and usually finish between 11 and 1-and by that time I'm about to drop. Hey I never said I had any common sense... :tongue3:

Well now that's just disappointing! :laughing7:

Maybe I'll just chill inside this weekend and watch Sahara again...

Been down here in Oklahoma visiting our son this week. Hit 101 yesterday. Only been out detecting 1 time. It isn't the heat that bothers me so much, as I worked outside in it all my life. Its that the ground is to darn hard from lack of rain. Its still more tolerable than the Illinois heat with the 80 % humidity we have up there. At least when I walk outside in Oklahoma, I don't get drenched like I just got out of the bathtub. I am also ready for Fall. I hear the fields calling me !!
