Putting a end to a trash streak I went to a 1920 Church and dug a 1916, 1920 D and a 1954 wheat. Dateless Buffalo and some brass somewhat buttons not sure. If that a harmonica reef please let me know, if it is it was a big one. And what I hoping is a clay marble any idea to tell let me know Thanks for looking. Looks like a peaceful spot away from the busy world. Nice score on your keepers. That speckled round item does look like a clay marble. I think those are super cools finds. I think I have only managed two since 2008. Glad you got what you were looking for and then some. :icon_thumright:

That reed is not for a harmonica... it's for a "squeeze box"... it has (2) reeds.. one for pull and one for push on the acordian.

You heard it here first!

The coinage might say 1920's church, but I'm betting the button, musket ball, harmonic reed, and clay marble all predate the church. Nice digs.

I failed to mention that the marble is awesome IMO. I like marbles, but as of yet, I have not found a clay one.

Another vote for clay marble. I find them in the fields here quite often. They are a very nice find and display nicely. Congrats.
