Just a boring fur trade hoe found amongst the cool stuff. A few days in the tank and it came out looking good...for a hoe.

Definitely in great shape the colonial tools I have Doug were just pure rust that thing almost looks like you could use it again

Leave it in 6parts water 1 part molasses for 4 weeks. Will have pitting but no rust.

Man alive, I like your fur trade hoe find! It was a very practical item to get at the time too. A nice tool like that would beat mirrors and beads all hollow.

That's actually true! This one is probably a million times the quality of anything made today. They don't make dem' hoes like they used to (my wife rolled her eyes because I just read that to her out loud).
