Nice weather this weekend, figured I'd get out for an hour. Checked out an area that used to be farmland and now is getting ready to be developed but still empty.

Hunks of metal, few saw blades and maybe a buckle? Seemed like it was the right shape and it has a notch where a latch could have went but no sign of a cross bar in the middle.. Anyways figured I'd share and now at least I know it's a spot worth going back to on the next nice day.

Nice finds. Since you mentioned that you were searching on farmland, my guess is that your buckle is a generic harness buckle. I have found many of them that look just like the one you found, with others being smaller and larger.

Thanks for the info, agree with you on the harness. Hoping its from a horse transporting a bag of coins that fell and are waiting for me to find next trip!
