It was. 1-47 on the e trac first swing. Then 8-9. - 46,47. Solid. 5 to 6 inches deep. Had some rain here lately, so that is part of the reason I went out. Aerial photos from the 20s have houses all around it, so it's an old park. Just trying to picture what it was like 100 years ago and attacking areas that to me look like they may have been busy 100 years ago that look like stupid places to hunt today based on the changes. Usually I declare a "best signal of the day before I dig". This was the best signal of the day.

I also get ideas about places to go. I'm not sure where they come from, but they just come to me. I've heard other people on here talk about it, when I get a spot that enters my head, I attack. It's a strange karma. But I swear, there is something to it.

You nailed a good one! Sometime the obvious places are the ones overlooked.

That's awesome! I'd be happy with the dime alone. Great find

Very nice!!!!! Hard to believe that has been overlooked.....unless it's a newer, older park. You would think some coils have been over it.

Congrats on the gorgeous Barber half, looks to be worth the wait! I hope there's an "S" mintmark on it. And if there's an "S" mintmark on the 1903 Barber dime, it's a very valuable coin.
