Equinox 800, AT Pro, Pro pointer AT,

Cut down some trees for a neighbor (lots of small ones...took 10 minutes tops) in exchange for permission to hunt his yard. Well his yard led to conversations with 3 other neighbors that said "feel free to try my yard."

If I could hunt this whole neighborhood it should yield huge results. I bet I am missing a lot of good stuff because I'm still learning.

Results speak for themselves, you must be doing something right.

In situations like this I like to clean up the easy finds, then go back for the more elusive targets if able.
And that means, digging iffy signals. You can't expect a quarter at 10" to chime like a bell, the signal will be erratic and broken.

Thank you for the advice...i'm fairly sure I can go back anytime. I offered to help out with yard jobs in exchange for the permission.

I get nervous about digging a lot of holes and killng the grass. I do a big plug and go straight down to cut as less roots as possible in a u pattern. Im surprised people are letting me do their yards actually. Really old plan with all the pretty green yards. Needless to say....thats why I'm digging good signals...still getting junk but maybe someone can come dig these yards with me and show me some pointers haha.

Oh yeah....5 foot easements throughout the plan.

If you found all that while you're just learning, just waiting until you really master your machine! Congrats on all that silver!
