Pretty place. I'm diggin' that button.
Thank you
Which one? I'm liking them both, I've found hundreds of buttons around me, none look close to either of these two. Scrappy told me it's a white metal 1900's button, looks the same as the one in his book. So many buttons, so little time.

Looks like a great place to hunt and you found some very nice relics Brad. Congrats.
Thanks, just got home, been driving all day.

Nice finds Brad and what a cool adventure up North. Never a boring day for you buddy! The picture I sent said it was a 1900's, but man that one looks aged. Dunno. I do know that other button is authentic, and dates 1820-1840ish. Rock on!

I swear it looks silver, I have found 90 % of my silver coins come out of my lakes that color grey. The light in my photos, background effects the color it looks in the photos. I was on the road all day, The stuff is still in my car, I'll look again in the morning. I haven't touched it since yesterday around 6 pm Even the musket balls are not like we normally see out of the dirt, we'll see what they look like tomorrow after being out of the water so long.
Thanks buddy

Update
The US button seems like it is made of lead? Check out the pix. I included pix of the other lead found in that immediate area.
I can bend the button with my fingers.
