Adding to the roll of finds in the last couple of weeks was this copper penny in the middle of nowhere in the woods...:1826...so far my oldest find! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1502900104.856097.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1502900124.239793.jpg

I'll bet that find put a smile on your face, what a beauty! To me it looks like your LC may be from 1825.

Yes....I couldn't be sure if it was 1825 or 1826....and wouldn't it be special if it was the more rare double stuck 5/6 ? Thanks. I was pretty happy and my eagerness to find something else tempered my wish to rush home and figure out what it was!....but no other good finds 4 hours later :). I didn't care...I was happy and enjoyed some blueberries along the way.

I though sure it might be an aluminum can...seems to be a bit of drinking in the woods....so very pleased to pull out a coin!
