Nice chunky gold in the pan, big stuff!

Hit two areas this past week her in the east. Here are the results. Now we moved quite a bit of dirt. Then we ran the concentrates through one of those spiral gold wheels. Weight is 2.1 grams and there are several decent NUGGETS in the batch. All are bright yellow, the dull color on a couple is from shadows. Nice, cold, no, make that very cold creeks up here.

Did get out today and didn't do very well. Goes that way sometimes. Got probably another half gram. It was a lot of work. I have about 4 pounds of black sand to re-run through the gold machine. If it's not set just right, gold can "escape".
