Road construction junk. Hole came in handy at hunt!

Tried hunting construction along side of old road.....lots of junk, a little glass and a quarter..Full. one bottle but doesn't seem old.

Then back to my recent sweet spot..but not much. Did get one good buckle. Thought I found a good cache digging down under root and finding a mason jar cover complete with white glass inside the cover (I did not know they made them this way), but alas...the hole was just empty after that. Got a few nails, a fishing lure, a golf ball..left there.and lots of trash.

I found this little critter laying on its back...Used one of the holes to give it a proper burial.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your pet. That can be really hard. It was a simple ceremony for the little shrew....but it goes to show that one cannot make everyone happy as the flies were not thrilled....
