I started a 3 hour hunt in the back of the house. I drifted towards the barn and got a sweet sound of music on the DEUS. At around 6 inches, the Garrett Carrot told me their was something large in the hole.
I dig out a healthy scoop with my Lesche Predator Shovel and sure enough, I was looking at half of an old lock. This is the second lock I have dug in the past week. There was my first horseshoe, so far at this homestead and a toasted Wheat Penny.
Things got quiet as far as signals go,, so I decided to try the front lawn. Got a clad Roosevelt and a Strong signal all the way down the center of the lawn , parallel to the street. I think it is an old abandoned gas line.
Finally, at the top of the lawn, where children might sit, waiting for daddy to pull into the driveway, I got a really sweet signal. At about 6 inches, I pulled out a Silver Roosevelt. (1953). I stuck the Carrot back in the hole and got another signal. Scooped out some dirt and I'm staring at a 1936 Mercury Dime. Very happy to get a Silver Spill. First one in awhile

Congrats on the spill! I had an agonizing hole yesterday. Wheat... beep in the hole... wheat... beep in the hole... wheat... beep still in the hole... 1954 nickel... one more faint beep in the hole... wheat. I just imagine what could have been...

any spill can be great but when they contain desired coins or silver, they become more like awesome. I am currently searching for a gold coin spill (might as well be a gold spill as I figure my odds of even finding one gold coin are pretty slim). congrats on the double silver

I guess you haven't been following my recent posts. They have been mostly about searching my property.
I did ask myself for permission before I started swinging the coil. lol

Oh yes, I knew that you had moved... commented on that nice zero-turn you have. And of course I knew you were hunting your own house, just being funny on the permission deal. Lol...
