    Relic day at the farm

Take a look at today's haul. Another ox shoe,(my 2nd this year) a very old soldering iron without the handle (according to the farmer), part of a plow point, an old muffin tin, various nails, some modern stuff, and 45 cents-all clad.

Looking forward to cooler weather. Still gets pretty hot in the open fields.

It was warm here yesterday. Looks like evidence of some older activity. Could be some nice older finds waiting out there for you.

I said the same thing when I showed it to the farmer. He said "Nope, that's a very old ox shoe".
