10 hours logged in to the ACE 250. Did a little research on where I live and the house dates to 1922 so I am going to tear into the yard tomorrow finally. Been putting it off for lazy reasons. Mostly been beach work on Lake Michigan. I thought that it would have been picked clean by now, but I'm still digging all the targets I can because who is gonna stop me, right?? But on the the show and tell for the night...

Walked around for an hour. Finally found something of interest. No clue what it is, looks like a fish and it has a small pattern on it, but its something off of something. Jewelry perhaps. Rusty things made the trash can before I left.

And as I was on my walk to my car with near empty pockets, I found a shotgun shell head-stamp on the beach about 50 feet from shore. Not caked over at all and I did no cleaning to it. A little rough on the edge too. Edited for lighting so you could read it easier... who ever you are!

I live in Harbor Springs and have always done best searching 3+ dunes in from the water.... because everything closer gets turned over / buried very quickly. If it's not the sand swallowing it down a couple feet it's the waves pulverizing it to bits. The inne-shore area has history to be found (merely my 2 cents). Happy hunting no matter where you choose. :)

Found a few in the park by where I live.
