I second that. Looks like a crimped on cable clamp.

I suppose I should have sent a size reference and mentioned I found in the woods.
It is a bit thick though so I can totally see how you came to that.

I just googled cryovac and this was a company that made bags to seal food. Thanks all. You know your stuff.

Its awful thick for a bird band. It would also have some registration numbers on it if it was.
