Went to the beach, as although fall has arrived, it's just pretending it arrived and it was 83 degrees today. First off, found a pair of stainless steel kids earrings, which I have put somewhere, I think still in the truck. Then found this junk ring. It's gold plated and was almost a foot deep. Then found a junk earstud. View attachment IMG_0445.jpg

Then a little clad, lots of pull tabs, tiny bits of barrel swivels to fishing sinkers, some sinkers, which I gave to the fishermen. And then this little earstud. Wish it was a real diamond, but it is not. View attachment IMG_0446.jpg The pen is for comparison purposes.

And then THIS... IMG_0452.jpg

And THIS... IMG_0449.JPG

There was a big party there a week or so ago, I guess they got careless or drunk or something.

Definitely a wide assortment. Got about 20 coins. Beach sweeper had been there in the last 24 hours or so, maybe a little longer as it hasn't rained this week. Best items were just out of range of the sweeper at the edge of the grass where the sand ends.

The last two rings are marked 14k. I don't know what the stone is, might have to take it to a jeweler. Probably topaz or aquamarine. Don't think it's a junk stone due to the 14k stamp.

Deleted the duplicate picture. My real cat helps me sometimes on the keyboard, more than I'd like to admit. Tomorrow, I think the front lawn and the nearby tot lot.

Thanks all. I finally found my diamond tester, now have to figure out where the zip bag with the stuff is. I'm probably sitting on it! Some days just not organized.

The stone appears to be blue topaz, probably heat treated. You can actually buy one loose that size under $20. They started finding mega topaz in Brazil some years ago and the prices tanked.

Show and tell, here is the FIRST quart of dug money this year. I now keep the clad and others in quart mayonnaise jars. I have started a second jar just the other day, bottom is covered, but barely. IMG_0455.JPG I left a fake pearl from the beach in there.

Great haul. I wish my trips to the beach were that productive. Congrats
