Was the grave reported to archaeologists for protection and possible future excavations?

You can bet it was, their rules are much stricter than ours. They hand it all in, over here we don't even have to report it (apart from if we found human bones), unless we want to.

It's interesting to hear all the traffic in the background of your video, and think of all that history lying there unknown (until you found it) right beside such a busy thoroughfare. The ghosts of the past are often found surprisingly close, and in the places where we least expect it...

It's been my understanding that you're supposed to report all artifacts found that are 400yrs or older to the coroner? If so, why the coroner of all people? (treasure, not bones or burial sites)
