Dang Danny! That's an awesome haul for a whole year, much less a single weekend. Congrats on a great weekend. That many early military buttons might be worthy of a banner nod. I need to remember to invite myself next time I'm down :tongue3:

I love finding buttons but have never found a military one! Nice collection you have there! So many in a short time! Sounds like a button spill [emoji6].

I think you should repost your post, saying something like, um, by the way,
I just dug six killer Confederate buttons this weekend!
Way too low key!
Mucho Kudos!

Just about skipped over this one, too modest! Congrats on the great weekend that you had, finding so many great looking buttons-one of them would of made a hunt for sure.

Now that's a super day in anyone's book! Without any giveaway details, was this a campsite, homesite or what? To me, that many military buttons in one day screams campsite of some sort. Not just a campsite but a CONFEDERATE campsite!

Found between an early 1800 homesite and a barn per the land owners kin folks from way back and I must also say George Washington past thru so I am looking forward to some day to find a GW button like finding a needle in the hay field
