Went to an old farm field with my tejon where I've been a few times. Found the 1881 indian head. Got tired of covering tons of ground and went to a place close to home that has given up old coins before. I set my disc to scap, and got a faint signal. Dug for a while and out pops my first seated coin....and it's a quarter! There's a scratch on the back and I think it's from something in my pouch. From now on I'm taking a pill container for my goodies! Happy hunting!

What finds! IH in one site and a Seated quarter in another! How often does that happen? That's the way it's done!!!

Awesome find. Im still looking for a seated anything but its a real scarce find up in my area(nova scotia). Some people may laugh but what i find perfect for my good coin finds out during the hunts is a cheap hard case credit card holder. It has individual slots for each coin and fits perfect in my pocket. Also holds buttons but not as well. You can find them at most bargain stores! [emoji2][emoji106]

Awesome job on the coins. BTW you should enter the Indian penny in the oldest penny found by a tesoro thread. Its a contest and you would take the lead for sure! :occasion14:
